Thank you, all, for another great MOPS meeting! We had a fantastic time this morning. For any of you who missed us, here's the scoop:
We enjoyed door prizes and hot breakfast as usual. The room was full & wonderfully loud (which means we were thoroughly enjoying gabbing with one another). We celebrated new babies (there are a lot of them right now!!!), September and October birthdays and anniversaries.
Our speaker was Kentz Willis and he gave an informative talk on home food preservation. This included techniques like hot water bath canning, pressure canning, dehydrating and freezing. If you are interested in learning more, Kentz is offering a preservation workshop on an upcoming Saturday. Please let a steering member know if you are interested in participating and we will get you more info. You may let me know by emailing sheridanmorningmops@gmail.com or leaving a comment here on the blog.
We also got packets of recipes to make inexpensive, eco-friendly household cleaning products. I will post those recipes here to the blog over the next few days - so if you missed them, keep an eye out.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, October 23rd from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Mark your calendars! We don't want to miss you.
